The Department of Business Administration was established in the year of 2002 from the inception of City University under the Faculty of Business and Economics. City University was established by Alhaj Mockbul Hossain, a former member of the Parliament and one of the top industrialists in Bangladesh. The department strives to maintain the highest standards under the direct supervision of Mr. Ahasanul Islam MP, the Honorable Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the University Administration.
The aim of this department is to be recognized as an internationally accredited academic institution in developing business talent and ideas that create growth and opportunity to meet the challenges of both domestic and global business environments.
The department has an outstanding faculty committed to world-class teaching and research. Faculty members employ case studies, real-world applications, classroom and on-site interaction with students, and also facilitate learning among our students. The department We offer major courses in Marketing, Human Resource Management (HRM), and Finance, Banking & Insurance. We take a personal interest in the development of our students. Our graduates are much in demand. The department also provides jobs and internship placement services for the graduates. Frequently we are arranging Industrial Tour and Career development programs for our students.
