Khondokar Jilhajj is a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at City University, Bangladesh. He holds both an MBA (CGPA 3.79/4.00) and a BBA (CGPA 3.71/4.00) from the Department of Banking and Insurance, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. With a strong academic background, he excelled in both his HSC and SSC, achieving a GPA of 5.00/5.00 from Dhaka Commerce College and Mirpur Mafid E-AM High School, respectively. His professional experience includes serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Dhaka International University, where he taught Financial and Managerial Accounting. In addition, he had worked as a research associate on multiple projects funded by prominent organizations such as the SME Foundation, FES Bangladesh, and the University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh. He also completed an internship from the Department of Off-Site Supervision at Bangladesh Bank. Khondokar has published three research papers, all indexed in Scopus and ABDC, with classifications in Q1 and Q3 quartiles. His academic excellence has been recognized through the Bangladesh Government Honours General Scholarship for his BBA results and Talent Pool Category Scholarship in the HSC Examination, where he ranked 16th among male students in the Business Studies group. His research focuses on key areas such as SMEs, empirical asset pricing, and bank performance. He is proficient in using statistical software like STATA and SPSS and has expertise in panel, cross-sectional, and time-series data analysis.
